For many years The Bothy was the home of the farm workers of Cairnton Farm and today it offers the perfect blend of traditional and modern living. Much of the original building has been retained including the authentic wood panel in the master bedroom, exposed beams in the living area, and the unique granite interior wall in the kitchen.
With south facing views stretching across the Dee valley and a private deck with a BBQ, The Bothy is an utterly charming two-bedroom cottage which never fails to delight our visitors.
The Bothy has a large and spacious living area with a wood burning stove, featuring a full length south facing window to take advantage of the spectacular view. Double glass patio doors lead out to the decking area.
Accommodation
The fully fitted kitchen which is open to the living area has all the amenities you’d expect, including a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
The master bedroom features solid oak flooring and a wood-burning stove set within a traditional fireplace complete with etchings from the farm folk of yesteryear. The king size bed can be separated into two singles and the room includes a seating area, wash-hand basin and wardrobe with full length mirror.
The bedroom has direct access onto the decking and sits adjacent to the shower room which features a waterfall shower head.
The second bedroom shares a wood burning stove with the living area and has a king size bed which can be separated to form two singles.
